Meg’s Corner is a unique air-conditioned coffee-house located on the ground floor of One South Place Hotel. This new café’s difference is its terrific location, inimitable food offerings, quality service and inviting ambiance.
Meg’s Corner is dedicated as a tribute to a lovely lady who lived next door. Alice “Meg” Craig spent countless hours curating natural history and cultural collections and researching and sharing informative educational topics about Belize. Her home was always full of visitors, and she would never let visitors leave without tasting her food – scrumptious pastries, cakes, soups, meats and salads along with local juices, coffee and teas… local yet unique to her making.
The Café provides a serene gourmet coffee experience with a classy ambiance, soothing music, and tasteful decor. It’s a unique, comfortable space for socializing and unwinding, aiming to relieve daily stress with excellent service and high-quality products.

Saturday: 7:30AM – 11:00AM (Breakfast Only)

Meg’s Café Multi-Purpose Room & Events
Available for rent by the hour or by the day and with an entrance located in the yard, this new air-conditioned space comprises 400sqft of multi-purpose facility including a service bar and a restroom. It can be used for dining, family or social events, intimate weddings, private happy hours, and receptions as well as board meetings, presentations, and trainings. The room also comes with a small outdoor seating space in a garden setting.
